Robert E. Jones
Robert is the Political Director for Annie's List, a political action committee dedicated to electing Democratic women in Texas, and an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at St. Edward's University. Robert has worked for many years in the political realm, as director of the Texas House Democratic Campaign, as director of the Campaign Corps program at EMILY’s List in Washington D.C., and as Press Secretary for the Bill Bradley for President Campaign. He was awarded a coveted 'Pollie Award' by the American Association of Political Consultants for his work recruiting young people into the political process. Robert also served as the founding director of The Moratorium Campaign, a national non-profit started by Susan Sarandon and Sister Helen Prejean, the activist featured in the movie Dead Man Walking. Robert has a Masters in Political Management from George Washington University and a B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio in political science.
