Sue Meller

Sue has served as Managing Director of the Headliners Club since 1981, providing oversight for one of Austin’s pre-eminent urban venues for social events and professional gatherings. In 1983, Sue became Managing Director for the newly formed Headliner’s Foundation to promote excellence in Journalism, a position she held until 2005. Sue has served on the boards or in an advisory capacity to many Central Texas organizations, including the United Way, The Austin Project, Caritas, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the American Institute or Learning, Festival Institute at Round Top and the University of Texas’ College of Human Ecology. Sue holds an M.B.A. from St. Edward’s University and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
